Ritual Specialist 55

Purpose-Designed Low Bow

The Ritual Specialist 55 is engineered specifically for players who demand power, precision, and consistency when drag-flicking. Featuring an extreme low bow profile and a concave face, this stick is built to maximise ball control and acceleration throughout the flicking motion.

Designed for attacking specialists and penalty corner experts, the Specialist 55 delivers elite-level performance without sacrificing control in open play.

🎯 Drag-Flick Precision

The defining feature of the Specialist 55 is the moulded scoop on the lower shaft, carefully shaped to:

  • Catch and cradle the ball

  • Guide it smoothly through the flicking motion

  • Increase consistency and accuracy

This design allows for a more controlled release, helping players generate repeatable power and precision from the top of the circle.

⚡ Extreme Low Bow Performance

With an aggressive 24mm bow height and a low bow point at 220mm, the Specialist 55 offers:

  • Explosive flicking power

  • Quick ball lift

  • Enhanced 3D skills

The tapered head profile improves accuracy and feel, giving players greater confidence when executing drag flicks, aerials, and tight technical skills.

🧱 Stability & Control

Despite its specialist shape, the Specialist 55 remains stable and predictable thanks to Ritual’s proven construction. The balanced 520g weight and 400mm balance point ensure the stick feels composed during high-speed flicks while remaining manageable during normal match play.

This balance allows the Specialist 55 to perform under pressure without feeling overly aggressive or unstable.

🖐 Comfort & Feel

To offset the power-focused design, the Specialist 55 includes:

  • AntiShock EVA foam to reduce vibration

  • A Super Soft grip for improved comfort and traction

This combination ensures the stick feels responsive but forgiving, even during repeated drag-flicking sessions.

🧪 Premium Carbon Construction

The Specialist 55 is crafted using a high-quality composite blend designed to deliver both power and touch:

  • 55% premium Japanese carbon fibre for stiffness and energy transfer

  • Fibreglass for added feel and control

  • Kevlar reinforcement for durability and impact resistance

This material balance makes the Specialist 55 ideal for players who want elite drag-flick performance without the harsh feel of ultra-high carbon sticks.

Hockey Stick Sizing

Hockey Stick Sizing

  • To find the size of a hockey stick, measure from Belly Button to the Floor in inches
  • Use the size table to then find the best suitable size for the player.
  • If the measurement is over 36" is going to be an adult hockey stick
  • 36.5" and 37.5" are senior length sticks and you can have either of these depending on which is the most comfortable to use.

What Size of Hockey Stick Do I Need?

Hockey stick length can affect your game and control the ball and hitting capability. As a result, you need to find out the right hockey stick size for you. We would always use this as a guide for kids and players that are starting off their hockey journey.

There are so many different ways of measuring or finding out the size of a hockey stick. Some ask you to put the hockey stick in your armpit, some ask you to guess from the player’s height, and some think it’s dependent on the moon's position!

At Total-Hockey, we use the easiest and simplest method, the 'Belly Button' method. All you need for this to work is a measuring tape and the player that needs a new stick size.

To get the right length, this method requires you to use a measuring tape to measure from the middle of the belly button to the floor in inches. That is it, how simple was that!

Now That I Have the Size, What Next?

Now you have the distance between the belly button and the floor in inches; you have to equate that now to stick lengths. You can match the measures sized in the table below and find the adequate stick size for you.

Hockey Stick Length Distance Measured

View 35" Stick Range 35" 35" - 35.5"
View Adult Stick Range 36.5" or 37.5" 36" +

The stick lengths of 36.5" and 37.5" are adult-length hockey sticks. If you fall in that category, we recommend choosing the length of a hockey stick on which size feels more comfortable to hold and play with.

We suggest coming into one of our stores to physically hold the adult hockey stick to see which size will feel the nicest. If you can't get to one of our stores, have a feel of one of your teammate’s hockey sticks to see which size is the most comfortable for you!
